The couple opted for a tropical wedding in Maui, Hawaii surrounded by their closest friends and family, including their adorable one-year-old daughter Sterling Skye. Their stunning wedding was planned by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss and the ceremony took place at Olowalu Plantation House. The 700-acre venue boasts a waterfront view and is the most popular wedding destination on the island. It took a village to execute a lavish ceremony for the NFL's second-highest-paid player, but it was important to the Mahomes' to work with local vendors. One of the vendors the couple worked with was Mandy Grace Designs, a floral designer. The company designed the beautiful flower arch serving as a whimsical backdrop for the couple's wedding photos. There can't be a wedding without a cake! The couple opted for a five-tiered cake baked and decorated by Cake Fanatics Maui. The beautiful cake was detailed and coordinated with the flower arch as it had a string of white flowers draping over the cake. The newlyweds couldn't get enough of the sunshine before heading back to Kansas City post-celebrations, so after the ceremony, the couple jet-setted to St. Barts for their honeymoon. Matthews kept fans up-to-date on their experience in St. Barts through Instagram stories, sharing snippets of the two enjoying the ocean, hiking, exploring natural pools, taking a yacht cruise and eating delicious food.
