In an interview with Dujour, the actress and entrepreneur shared some of the activities and food that keep her returning to the beautiful Mexican coastline. "Swimming in the cenotes, which are natural swimming holes," she said in response to Dujour's question about her favorite activity. "We went to Cenote Azul and swimming in the freshwater through the underground river systems is something I will never forget. It was magical." Alba loves traveling with her family, and she suggested visiting the Mayan ruins as the perfect activity for the whole family. Kids have fun exploring the area while learning a little bit of history while they're at it. Alba enjoys indulging in some of the delicious foods of the area, like Yucatan honey ice cream, but she said that her favorite food is the food she cooks with her family. "We recently had a family dinner at Rosewood Mayakoba where we picked herbs and vegetables from the resort’s garden and helped the chef prepare an authentic meal," she said. "It was such a fun night for the kids, and it was also educational since they got to learn about traditional Mexican cuisine." There is endless fun to be had in Riviera Maya. Alba added that she and her family also enjoy going for runs on the beach and exploring the town's boutiques. GET DEALS ON RIVIERA MAYA HOTELS HERE!
