Chris Hemsworth & Wife Elsa Pataky Celebrate Holidays On Fiji’s Tavarua Island

The Avengers star Chris Hemsworth celebrated the holidays with his family on Tavarua Island, one of Fiji’s many scenic islands.

He shared a photo of himself and his wife, The Fast and the Furious’ Elsa Pataky. They were there with their kids and Hemsworth’s brother, Luke Hemsworth, and his family.

“Happy holidays from one of my favourite places on earth @tavaruaislandresort,” Hemsworth wrote in the caption of himself and Pataky by a palm tree.

The Hemsworths stayed at Tavarua Island Resort, a resort that goes by the tagline “Paradise Awaits.” The tagline couldn’t be more truthful as the private island is a vacationer’s dream. It’s surrounded by some of the best surfing water in the world and there are many fun activities to partake in.

Travel like Hemsworth and take your family to Tavarua Island. You’ll most likely spend most of your time participating in various water activities such as snorkeling, surfing or kayaking.

For those with younger children who cannot enjoy active activities or parents who are looking for a break, babysitting is provided. Services are offered at both a day and an hourly rate. The resort brings in nannies from villages off of the island. They are known for providing excellent childcare, so make sure to inquire about a nanny in advance if you know you will be needing some extra help.

Staying at Tavrua Island Resort also allows guests a unique view into the culture of Fiji. On Thursday nights, the resort hosts “Fiji Night,” where staff invites guests to the island in the traditional way. This includes the island’s people coming together on a woven mat for the Fijian kava ceremony. There is also underground cooking in a “lovo,” traditional Fijian foods, and singing and dancing.
