‘Dancing with the Stars’ Runner-up Alix Earle Celebrates Birthday In Cabo San Lucas Despite Split From NFL Star Braxton Berrios

Influencer and Dancing With the Stars contestant Alix Earle celebrated her 25th birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, sharing on Instagram highlights of her vacation.

With 5.3 million followers on Instagram, her reel instantly went viral. Complemented with mascara, blush, and a nude lip tint, Earle posted herself wearing a beaded brown-and-white bikini set, with a backdrop of the blue sky and palm trees. In addition to captioning her reel: “It’s my birthdayyyyy #25,” Earle also included glimpses into her birthday vacation with her group of friends.

As one of Mexico’s top vacation spots, Cabo San Lucas is renowned for its beaches, luxury resorts and its iconic “El Arco” rock formation. Tourists could go on sunset cruises, sailing, scuba diving and end the night at one of Cabo’s popular nightclubs. One of Earle’s videos presented a surprise fireworks show just for her, in front of one of Cabo’s famous beaches.

Clad in a yellow sundress, Earle looked stunning as the fireworks exploded after sunset.

Following the post, fans learned that Earle had split from NFL player Braxton Berrios after two years. Although the two had their two-year anniversary just recently on November 11, they separated a few weeks later.

Following her birthday, the media personality confirmed her separation from Berrios, expressing that she “really wants to be focusing on [herself] right now, and [she feels that she] can’t be what Braxton needs.” She also clarifies that their split was mutual, and that they had simply gone on “two different paths.”

Earle recently finished second on the last season of Dancing With the Stars. Berrios is continuing his NFL season as part of the Houston Texans. Berrios also released his response to the split, with fans calling him out for his inability to attend Earle’s performances at DWTS. Berrios responded back, “I would’ve been at every one if I could’ve, sadly, I can’t travel like that in season.”

Fans speculate the reason behind Earle’s and Berrios’s split, with the struggle of long-distance being a major factor. A family source explained that “they were trying to make it work, but their busy schedules got in the way… They’re used to being in a long-distance relationship, but DWTS definitely put it to the test.”
