Explore The World’s Most Colorful Cities Just Like Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio

Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio shared her stunning picture captured in the colorful district of Pelourinho in Salvador, Brazil, with her 11.9 million followers on Instagram.

In the post, the 42-year-old Victoria’s Secret star donned an eye-catching sheer crochet dress adorned with starfishes in vivid shades of blue, red and yellow. The sea-inspired mini dress featured a yellow top that looks like a golden seashell bra.

While striking poses against the backdrop of Pelourinho’s lively cityscape and streets, Ambrosio showcased the beauty of one of the most colorful cities in the world. If you are yearning to immerse yourself in vibrant surroundings, look no further.

We have compiled a list of the most enchanting and colorful cities across the globe, each with its own unique color tone that will leave you captivated.

Chefchaouen, the city in northwest Morocco, also known as Chaouen, is a blue paradise. The entire city is washed in shades of blue, surrounded by mountains and forests. How and why Chaouen became the Blue City remains a mystery, some say it came from a religious practice in the 15th century and others believe a more practical reason is that the blue paint keeps the mosquitos away. The city’s landscape itself is its own attraction. The best way to explore is simply wandering around the narrow streets, getting lost in the blueness and embracing the hospitality of the locals.

Guanajuato, a city in central Mexico famous for its hybrid architectural style, has diverse shades of colors that add charm and character to the cityscape. Walking in this vibrant Mexican city is like moving through a kaleidoscope of hues. At every turn, you’ll encounter buildings adorned in vibrant yellows, oranges, pinks, blues and greens. Don’t miss the famous Callejón del Beso (Alley of the Kiss), where on a hidden corner, two balconies across the narrow alley almost touch, allowing lovers to share a romantic kiss.

Burano, an island in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy, offers a rainbow escape – all the houses are covered in bright, colorful paints. The green waters of the channels reflect the lively color, adding a sophisticated touch to the cheerful image. This picturesque fishing village is famous for its lace-working tradition, where you can find exquisite lace handicrafts made by local artisans. Make sure to stop by the center of the island, Galuppi Square, and admire the lace working at one of the shops.
