‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Kevin McKidd Encounters Wildlife On Zambian Safari – Our Top Safari Destinations

Kevin McKidd is enjoying a breathtaking safari trip with his girlfriend Dannielle Savre in the wildlife paradise of Zambia.

The 49-year-old Grey’s Anatomy star shared a captivating Instagram video on June 27, which takes fans on a virtual journey through their expedition in Lower Zambezi, a national park situated along the mighty Zambezi River.

The video reel showcases an array of wild animals, from hippos playfully showering themselves to the majestic presence of a male lion, from an aggressive crocodile to a harmonious elephant family wandering through the wetlands against a backdrop of a stunning sunset.

McKidd and his girlfriend Savre, the 34-year-old star of Station 19, also shared a kiss under the golden sky, surrounded by the magical land of Zambia.

“A million thank you’s to everyone @chiawasafaris & @howelltalentrelations for the trip of a LIFETIME,” captioned the Scottish actor. “Your hospitality, knowledge, heart and humor made our trip to the Lower Zambezi beyond our expectations.”

Embarking on a safari journey in Africa is an experience that defies the limits of our imagination. Until we set foot in these extraordinary landscapes surrounded by wildlife, it is impossible to fully grasp the wonders that await us.

So where should we start and how to pick our first safari destination? Don’t worry, uTrips has helped you to find the world’s most unforgettable safari experiences, each with its own treasures that you will never regret discovering.

  1. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania: If you have heard of the annual Great Migration, this is the land that provides you with the best immersive observation of the wilderness. Imagine millions of wildebeest and zebras traversing the plains, accompanied by predators in hot pursuit, it is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to witness this natural spectacle.
  2. Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya: Home to the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos), the Maasai Mara offers you another perspective to appreciate the landscape and wild animals through its popular balloon safaris. As you glide above the savannah, you won’t be afraid of disturbing the harmony while capturing the incredible scenery below.
  3. Okavango Delta, Botswana: As one of the largest freshwater wetlands in southern Africa, it is home to thousands of plants and animals, especially for mammals and excellent birding. There are multiple options to explore this swamp, such as taking a helicopter safari to view the intricate water network from above or embarking on a canoe gliding trip to intimately encounter wildlife.

Have you decided where to go next? Leave us a comment and let uTrips know what is your dream safari experience!
