Princess Diana’s Niece, Lady Amelia Spencer, Soaks Up Autumn Sun In Dubrovnik With Husband Greg Mallett

Lady Amelia Spencer is stretching out the summer.

The 34-year-old niece of the late Princess Diana shared a series of Instagram photos from an autumn getaway to Dubrovnik, Croatia, with her husband, Greg Mallett, giving followers a glimpse of the couple’s sun-soaked days on the Adriatic coast.

Bikinis, Beaches & Kayaks

One photo from the trip quickly grabbed attention: Lady Amelia posed on a pier overlooking the water in a baby blue string bikini, hands on her hips, showing off her toned figure against the sparkling sea.

Other snaps showed the couple sharing romantic moments by the water, while the pair also explored the city’s historic Old Town, according to Croatian outlet Dubrovački dnevnik. The two spent time at Banje Beach, one of Dubrovnik’s most popular swimming spots just outside the city walls, toured local landmarks, enjoyed the area’s food and drinks and went kayaking along the coast.

The trip took advantage of an unusually warm stretch of weather in southern Croatia, where locals were still swimming at Banje in mid-October.

Love Story Rooted in South Africa

The getaway is the latest chapter in a romance that dates back well over a decade. Lady Amelia and her identical twin sister, Lady Eliza Spencer, spent much of their childhood in Cape Town, South Africa, after their father, Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, and his then-wife, former model Victoria Lockwood, relocated the family there in the mid-1990s to escape intense media scrutiny.

In Cape Town, Lady Amelia met Mallett, an estate agent and fitness instructor and the nephew of former South African national rugby coach Nick Mallett. The couple married there on March 21, 2023, in a ceremony officiated by Mallett’s father, Dave Mallett. Lady Amelia said at the time that the couple’s happiest moments together had all taken place in South Africa.

In March, Lady Amelia marked the couple’s third wedding anniversary with an Instagram tribute calling Mallett her best friend.

Lady Amelia and Mallett are frequent travelers who regularly document their trips on social media, including previous getaways to Venice, other parts of Italy and Dubai.

A Busy Year for the Spencer Sisters

Lady Amelia and her sisters, including model Lady Kitty Spencer, are first cousins of Prince William and Prince Harry. The twins have become fixtures on the fashion circuit, serving as brand ambassadors and appearing together at high-profile events such as the 2025 Fashion Awards in London.

Lady Eliza also has a wedding on the horizon. She got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Channing Millerd, in the summer of 2025, and the couple celebrated with an engagement party in Cape Town in December.

Meanwhile, the sisters’ father has drawn attention in recent weeks for his new book about his late sister, in which he makes a number of claims about King Charles.
