Sydney Sweeney Visits Her Namesake City, Enjoying Sights Of Sydney Opera House

Actress Sydney Sweeney toured the Sydney Harbor Bridge with her father, Steven, enjoying a “bucket list” tour of her namesake city.

The actress landed in Australia last Saturday. In her Instagram post, she posed on top of the bridge, throwing her hands in the air while looking down at the Sydney Opera House. In the post, she revealed that she was named after the iconic Australian landmark.

The Euphoria star and her dad wore matching blue baseball caps, sunglasses and suits while climbing the landmark, later posing for photos with the city behind them.

“My daddio 🙂 It was a bucket list trip for him, and he named me after the place so he had to come see it finally, right?” she wrote in her caption.

Australia’s Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts center located in Sydney, New South Wales. It is widely regarded as one of the most recognizable buildings in the world, and a feat of 20th-century modern architecture. Tourists can take special walking tours, see one of the 1,600 annual performances, or watch the nightly Balu Gili light show.

Sweeney’s appearance in Australia comes after she confirmed her romance with music mogul Scooter Braun. She gave fans a peek into their relationship, sharing an Instagram post from the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California.

“Cowboy kind of weekend,” she wrote, featuring many photos with Braun.

In one of the photos, the Housemaid star balanced on his shoulders, clad in denim overalls. In another, she clung onto him while wearing knee-high cowboy boots. Other clips showed them singing together or enjoying each other’s quiet company.

The couple reportedly began their relationship in September 2025, after Jeff Bezos‘ and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy.
