April, an excellent month to travel due to the excellent weather, is a spring break haven. January doesn’t normally make the list of the best times to visit Hawaii due to the rainy season, but it is the perfect month to travel to Hawaii for nature lovers hoping to whale watch. The ocean also swells from January to March making it a prime spot for advanced surfers looking for big waves.
