Yosemite National Park Adds New Glamping Site

Located in stunning Mariposa, California, Wildhaven Yosemite has opened a new glamping spot for luxury campers to enjoy. Just a mile away from town, the 36-acre property consists of 12 cabins and 30 tents with beautiful views along the southwestern corner of the national park.

Guests have a choice of either glamping in a tent or cabin. If you choose to glamp more traditionally, Wildhaven’s “safari-style” tents offer plenty of furnishings, including electricity, and choice of one or two beds or bunk beds. They are on the lower part of the property and are near a cooking area, bathhouse, communal fire pit and reception house.

For glampers wanting more of a homey feel while camping, Wildhaven’s “tiny-home-style” cabins are perfect for a comfortable outdoor experience. Located on the upper area of the property, there are multiple cabin options, but all include one or two beds, a kitchenette, bathroom and shower and other furnishings complimentary to the cabin’s different spaces.

On the property, Wildhaven Yosemite offers lots of activities for glampers to get involved in. Hiking trails are accessible on the property, and the hillside location offers beautiful views of the surrounding area and the town of Mariposa. During the summer season from May to September, Wildhaven also offers complimentary events such as yoga classes, live music and tastings of Sierra cider.

While guests can explore different things to do in Yosemite Park as well, the town of Mariposa being near the glamping property brings exciting opportunities for guests to explore the “charming gold rush town.” One of the largest opportunities is the chance to experience different kinds of water sports and swimming activities that are perfect for a warm summer day. From visiting Lake McSwain’s waterpark to renting a boat at Bass Lake, there is something for everyone.

Wildhaven Yosemite is the second glamping location for the company, as the first is Wildhaven Sonoma located in the wine country of Sonoma County in the Bay area. If you want to have your own glamping experience with Wildhaven Yosemite for a comfortable and natural experience with the outdoors, you can book your trip now.
