Vanessa Kirby & Boyfriend Paul Rabil Enjoy Romantic Getaway In Nevis
Vanessa Kirby, 37, recently hit pause on her packed filming schedule for a romantic tropical retreat with her boyfriend, Paul Rabil, 39, and the setting couldn’t have been more idyllic. Nestled in the lush beauty of the West Indies, the Four Seasons Resort on Nevis Island offered the perfect blend of barefoot luxury and old-world Caribbean charm. Think sun-drenched beaches, gentle trade winds and quiet strolls through coconut groves. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, the Wi-Fi feels optional, and sunset cocktails feel like rituals. No wonder Kirby described the stay as “a special place.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps star gave fans a peek into her tropical escape via Instagram, posting a carousel of sunlit snapshots on April 16. In one particularly intimate shot, she leaned into Rabil as he wrapped a casual arm around her. Another image captured the couple gazing at fireworks on the beach, bathed in the soft glow of island nightfall. “What a beautiful time away to stop for a second to appreciate the people you most love,” Kirby wrote in the caption, thanking the resort for their warm hospitality.
The pair has kept a relatively low profile since they went public with their relationship last November. Rabil, who co-founded the Premier Lacrosse League, shared their Instagram debut with heartfelt words: “From the very minute we first met in Des Moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you ❤️.” The two were first spotted together over a year earlier in New York City, photographed strolling arm-in-arm through Manhattan in October 2022.
Before Rabil, Kirby was previously linked to actor Callum Turner, her co-star in the 2014 drama Queen and Country. Rabil was formerly married to fellow lacrosse star Kelly Berger from 2014 to 2017. His career and personal journey were the focus of the 2022 documentary Fate of a Sport, which chronicled his efforts to reshape the future of lacrosse in the U.S.
The island getaway comes at a high-profile moment in Kirby’s career. She’s set to return as the enigmatic White Widow in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, releasing May 23. But the real buzz is around her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe this July, where she’ll suit up as Sue Storm, aka the Invisible Woman, in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. She’ll star alongside Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in what promises to be one of the summer’s biggest box office hits.
