Christina Aguilera & Daughter Summer Take In Waterfall On Costa Rica Vacation

Christina Aguilera‘s 11-year-old daughter, Summer, made a surprise cameo in the singer’s Instagram post.
Aguilera posted a video of La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Wildlife Refuge of Costa Rica, a special ecological park and wildlife sanctuary. The area is home to native flora and fauna, including cats and monkeys.
“Thank you for the wonderful tour and the breath of fresh air ☁️🩵🦋. Pura vida xxx,” the singer captioned her post.
Aguilera tries to keep her children out of the spotlight, so this sudden appearance was very surprising. Summer was featured walking through the gardens alongside her father and Agulilera’s fiancé, Matthew Rutler, as electric blue butterflies landed on her hand. She wore a white Tanzania t-shirt that fell to her knees, black shorts and comfortable shoes. Aguilera and Rutler also wore casual outfits.
Aguilera also included a photo of the family posing for group photos, making peace signs in front of a waterfall. However, her eldest son, Max, did not seem to be present on this Costa Rica vacation.
In addition, she curated a separate Instagram post documenting other snapshots of her family vacation, featuring photos of her performing and signing autographs.
The singer welcomed her son, Max, during her past marriage with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, before their split in 2010. Aguilera began dating Rutler in the same year, and they got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014. They welcomed Summer into their family that August.
On Summer’s 10th birthday in 2024, Aguilera shared sweet words towards her daughter.
“Today, I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by. These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you.”
