‘Dirty Dancing’ Star Jennifer Grey Makes Waves During Beach Vacation With Best Friend Tracy Pollan

Instead of summering at the Kellermans’, Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey took to Instagram, posting snapshots from her beach trip with best friend and actress Tracy Pollan, the wife of Michael J. Fox.
At 65, Grey posed on the shore, showing off her naturally curly hair and sunglasses. She sported a simple two-piece black bikini set, matching Pollan. Almost 40 years after her claim to fame, Grey remains a household name.
Another photo featured her amid the ocean waves, gazing into the distance, wearing a similar black one-piece.
Pollan was included in a selfie as well. The actress captioned the post, “Long overdue girls trip @tracy.pollan 🤍 giggled like we were back in high school.”
Pollan also shared photos of their trip. “Best time with my bestie @jennifergrey,” she wrote.
The two actresses have been close for more than 50 years. They first met at The Dalton School in New York City as kids and have been best friends ever since.
Grey has confirmed she will return in Dirty Dancing 2, playing Baby once more. In this sequel, she will be mentoring a young and fresh dancer decades later at Kellermans.
“The role of Baby has held a very deep and meaningful place in my heart, as it has in the hearts of so many fans over the years,” she shared in a statement, adding, “I’ve long wondered where we might find Baby years later and what her life might be like… and I’m excited to say that It looks like the wait will soon be over!”
Grey is best known for her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing, for which she received a Golden Globe Nomination. She also starred Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Red Dawn and more.
