Lily Allen Shows How To Holiday In Italy’s Porto Ercole
Singer Lily Allen took some time on a little Mediterranean vacation tour this summer.
The 39-year-old went on the trip with her husband, actor David Harbour, 49, and children. The couple officially tied the knot in 2020 with a Las Vegas wedding.
In an action-packed Instagram post, Allen shared pictures of her beautiful beachside trip mixed with some gorgeous selfies, including a photo of her sunbathing in a cute pink bikini and sunglasses.
Captioning the post “Il Pellicano 4 evaaaaaaaaa,” another photo in the post showed Allen’s eclectic style, with a solo shot of her sporting a colorful skirt with a fun graphic and a purple and green shirt.
Allen’s Instagram caption likely refers to the luxury Hotel Il Pelicano, located in Porto Ercole, Italy, and is known for being a getaway spot for celebrities and royals during the golden age of cinema.
While the beaches of Porto Ercole are calming if you want to partake in a full tour of the coast and more, you can see Porto Ercole and the islands of Isola del Giglio and Giannutri on an excursion tour. With a full day of swimming and exploring, the tour allows you to visit with ease and also provides guests with sea-exploration tools and materials to see the sea up close.
If you want an even deeper look, maybe try scuba diving. See what the underwater world holds, exploring the life beneath the islands and tons of sea creatures to meet. Equipment and meals at your convenience are included and provided by staff while you have fun on the boat and in the water.
Outside of Porto Ercole, if you travel about half an hour north, the region of Maremma offers some fun activities in a picturesque natural setting.
A quad excursion is an adventurous way to see the sights of the Tuscan Maremma. This experience allows guests to discover the “Bandite di Scarlino” woods and explore the woodsy landscape at a fast pace.
If a tour near the coast is more your cup of tea, an e-bike tour may be another option to explore the woodsy and beachy landscape of Maremma. Designed to immerse guests in different kinds of nature, the tour offers many beautiful photo opportunities as it passes through the lagoon of Orbetello (featuring pink flamingoes) and the Feniglia Natural Reserve.
From deep sea adventures to coastal recreation, the Italian coast offers impressive opportunities for relaxation and tons of fun.
