Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s ‘Trip Of A Lifetime’ Honeymoon Will Inlcude Lake Como, A Private Greek Island & The Croatian Countryside
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing for a “trip of a lifetime” later this year.
The A-list couple is getting ready to tie the knot in June.
The pop star is planning to spend $1.2 million on florals, hoping to transform her $32 million Rhode Island estate into a stunning floral venue.
According to a source interviewed by The Sun, the couple is planning a three-week international honeymoon, with destinations including the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
The honeymoon will need to end by mid-July to ensure Kelce begins training with the Chiefs in late July. With two Super Bowl wins under his belt, Kelce will continue playing with his team in the fall.
“They have been planning this for weeks and have already informed friends and family that they will be ‘off the grid’ during this time,” the insider said.
“Unless there is an emergency, they want to limit outside contact to truly immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime experience before Travis returns to the football field.”
Their honeymoon will begin in the Bahamas, allowing privacy away from the spotlight. Then their trip will continue in Europe. They will travel to Italy and Lake Como. Swift loves Lake Como, and the couple is looking at properties in the area.
After Lake Como, the couple will travel to France, spending a couple of days in Paris before going to the French Riviera and Croatia. Both Swift and Kelce expressed excitement for the Croatian countryside, hoping to explore more of Kelce’s ancestry. Last year, Kelce and his brother Jason discovered their family’s Croatian roots on his mother’s side.
“Taylor already loves that part of the world, having visited before, and Travis is excited to take her there as part of this journey,” the insider added.
Their European segment will end with a private island in Greece. But the trip does not end here—afterwards, the couple will jet off to Singapore then Australia. During her Eras Tour, Swift fell in love with Australia and hopes to explore more of the region.
