Dua Lipa may be one of the most famous singers in the world, and even though she’s currently embarking on a world tour across multiple countries, she still enjoys the places she performs. One of those places was Lisbon, Portugal.

“exploring LISBOA w my wife @oliveuniacke ~ thank you @anamourafado for this beautiful experience,” she captioned a series of photos on Instagram of a night out with friends.

Travel like Dua Lipa and enjoy the best that the nightlife in Lisbon has to offer.

The city comes alive at night. Most don’t even eat dinner until 9 or 10 p.m., so don’t expect the crowds to head to the bars until 11 p.m. or midnight at the earliest.

Lisbon is a very hilly city, so it’s best to keep heels and flip-flops at home.

If you’re looking to be in the heart of all the action, start the night off in Bairro Alto. You’ll find great cocktails and live music in the more than 100 bars and restaurants in the area. When the bars close down, you’ll want to make your way to Cais do Sodre on the waterfront. It boasts some of the best nightclubs for dancing, including Music Box. Most nightclubs in the area stay open until 6 a.m.

For those looking for a fun, but a quieter night out, look no further than Alfama. Winebar do Castelo closes at 10 p.m., but it is known as the best place in the area for spectacular wines paired with cheese. It also is a go-to in town for delicious charcuterie boards.
