‘The Little Mermaid’ Star Halle Bailey Celebrates 26th Birthday On Yacht
Halle Bailey celebrated her 26th birthday, wowing her fans with her stunning figure.
Clad in a tiny light green bikini, the Little Mermaid actress took to Instagram to post snapshots of her birthday celebration.
“It’s my bday. I’m 26 today. I’m on a boat with my loved ones. The sun is shining. God is so good,” she wrote in her caption.
Her followers responded with birthday greetings in her comment section, filling it with flowers, hearts and birthday cake emojis.
“Love you, babe, always,” one wrote.
A second added, “Happy birthday, Queen.”
“Thank you for posting natural photos. You look amazing,” a third commented.
Bailey will star in the new romantic movie You, Me and Tuscany, opposite her Bridgerton co-star Rege-Jean Page, which is due in theaters on April 10. Recently, the actress revealed that she is a huge fan of Bridgerton.
In an interview with The Guardian, Bailey shared which character in the Netflix period drama she wished to play the most. “I love Bridgerton, yes. I would want to be the queen, because she is amazing, gets to choose the diamond of the season, matchmake and watch people fall in love.”
She also gushed about her costar, “Rege is so funny. He’s such a warm, kind-hearted guy.”
“I feel his English accent really comes out now that we’re here in London. When we’re in my home – LA – it goes in and out. I hope some of his English charm rubbed off on me.”
Bailey added that one of her dreams is to star in a horror role, inspired by the recent success of Sinners, which starred Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld.
In addition to the Bridgerton actor, Bailey is also close to the Grammy-winning star Beyoncé, whom she calls a “cool auntie.”
Bailey has been a fan of Beyoncé since she was 15. In her interview, she revealed that she still turns to her for guidance and advice on her music.
The actress released her debut solo album Love?… or Something Like It last year and said, “I do still reach out and say, ‘Hey, can you listen to this and tell me your opinion?'”
“She’s always so responsive and attentive, but she also lets you be you. She just lets you fly.”
