Farrah Abraham sparked outrage with her revealing outfit during her vacation in Egypt.

Accompanied by her daughter, Sophia Abraham, Abraham posted snapshots of her trip, with the pyramids of Giza in the background. According to the Teen Mom star, the Egypt trip was to commemorate Sophia’s birthday.

Clad in a see-through black skirt and a gold shimmery top, she received a few negative comments. Her daughter wore a black dress.

“This Egypt collage from the Red Sea to the pyramids has been a wild journey, and I’m blessed to have another full circle year with you. I love that everyone thinks we’re sisters and can’t believe that we’re not friends, #teenmom life,” Abraham captioned. “I’m jet lagged writing this & can’t wait to ride camels 🐫by the sphinx today. Love you & proud of you, keep learning and adventuring new parts of this big world.”

Abraham and Sophia also got matching neck tattoos. In a video Sophia posted, she said, “Our tattoos represent eternal life, eternal love, eye of Ra, eye of Horus, and inspired Egyptian hieroglyphics as seen in ancient Egyptian history! The Arabic writing translates to ‘eternal love.’ I’m so happy and grateful I got to get this.”

Abraham welcomes her daughter’s sense of style. When her daughter got multiple facial piercings two years ago, Abraham defended her. “I’m here to make sure my child’s seen, she is safe, and she is supported. If those three things are always top of mind, then I know what I’m doing,” she said.

Egypt has been a popular tourist destination throughout the decades. Considered the “cradle of civilization,” many iconic monuments still stand. Tourists can visit the Pyramids, as Abraham did, or opt for the Great Sphinx or the temples of Luxor.

However, Abraham’s trip did not end on a sweet note. The mother-daughter pair found themselves in controversy after the model’s Instagram post.

One person commented, “You’re brave. Showing so much skin for such a conservative country.”

Another wrote, “Part of traveling is learning cultural respect.” Fans also have expressed “shock” at the model’s lack of decorum. Others commented on the pair for riding camels.

Abraham later confirmed that she returned “home safe.”
