Positano, found in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, is one of the most breathtaking locations in the world. It is one of the more pricy destinations in the country, but the views make it more than worth it. It boasts old-world charm while still being a tourist hot spot. The village is dotted with boutiques selling the area’s famous lemon-themed products. The town also has beautiful beaches. Make sure to make your way to Fornillo beach for a more relaxing and quieter time. Spiaggia Grande is a bigger beach that is often busier. Staying in Positano is also a great place to stay if you’re hoping to hop around to different places in Italy since it’s in close proximity to Capri, Ischia and Grotta dello Smeraldo.

Manarola, one of the five villages that make up Cinque Terre, is another must-visit Italian coastal town. The buildings are painted in vibrant colors, making for a scenic view. Manarola, known for its vineyards, is the perfect destination for wine connoisseurs. Manarola is especially known for producing Sciacchetrà, a famously sweet dessert wine.

Sorrento draws celebrities from all areas of the globe. Like Positano, it is superbly located for traveling to close-by villages. Sorrento is known for its’ citrus groves, so make sure to carve out time to stop by on a visit. The small coastal town is also known for producing beautiful ceramics and lace. Sorrento is not the place to go if you are looking for a beach vacation, but it is the perfect destination for those wanting to take in the beautiful views and enjoy delicious food and drinks at restaurants and cafes.
